Ewaz Ali Hazara, Sub-Inspector in charge of police station Gulistan (SHO) in District Kila Abdullah, was shot and killed by his guard and police driver, Nematullah.

The real cause of the incident is not known as of this writing. There are unconfirmed reports that the killer, constable Nematullah, has accepted charges that he killed his superior officer due to religious enmity.

It is not known at the moment if the driver has accepted being part of terrorist outfits such as LEJ which has vowed to make Pakistan the ‘graveyard of Hazaras.’
